A series of vignettes – stories linked together under a common theme – love tainted by violence - interspersed with testimonials, reenactments, interludes and a resolve.
Using 4 distinct and differently executed stories on domestic abuse – family violence, dating violence, child abuse and elder abuse, each segment starts off with a shocking revelation/fact on the violence in question.

We are casting for actors between the ages of 9-18 years old to be the students on a camping trip. As this is a musical, it would be lovely if the supporting actors can dance and act as well. Our filming dates are projected to be sometime between mid-November to end-Dec 2008, for 15 days. Rehearsals are projected to start from 20 Oct 2008, if you are selected. The storyline follows a teenage girl, Inka Seah, from a well-to-do background coming to terms with being in a new and very different school environment. She faces a possible upheaval at home because her father seems to be rather friendly with his new personal assistant. She goes through trials during a school camp with her interesting yet vastly dissimilar new classmates while coming to a resolution with her personal problems. The show will be accompanied by song-and-dance pieces by our trained young performers. Our target audience includes children, teenagers and parents. It will be preceded by trailers, music videos and "making of School House Rockz" spots on Central and OKTO to promote the show. Remarks: Auditions to be held within THIS WEEK (06-11 October) Shineon! kids and/or parents are free to audition for a music video for a local musician (English) who is launching her album: 1) Chinese Girl (Cheeky, playful) 5-12 years old.
Role: She's playing as a daughter who likes to design shoes. But she does it on her own school shoes and gets scolding from her mother. But she's too occupied with her ambition.
2) Eurasian Girl. Dark Hair. 5-12years old. Role: A dancer. She will be a childhood-version of a dancer featured in this MV. If she knows how to do ballet or if it's salsa, even better. Any form of dance is welcomed.
3) A Family of 4. *All 4 roles are open for separate audition* A pair of parents and 2 young children. No preferences for children's gender. Role: They are enjoying their time together at the esplanade. Their father will be playing with the kids with the mother walking behind them. The two boys then set off for an adventure where they use the map as a guide. The clues spin around the myths and legends of Singapore and the surrounding islands, when they learn that the stories they learn in school actually mean more than they thought.
